More about Coaching

What is coaching?
Coaching is about helping you achieve whatever you want in your life and at your work. It’s a relationship that involves development of skills and awareness andimprovement of performance. Coaching is about getting the very best out of someone and enabling them to make decisions that will improve their life.
Coaching is about RESULTS!
Coaching is different to psychology, counseling or therapy. The big difference between coaching and these professions is that coaching doesn’t claim to have the answers. A therapist or councillor will look at the past to find solutions, a coach is not concerned with the past, but will use resources from the past when working exclusively with thepresent and the future. Coaching increases motivation and helps you discover your full potential. The skills and the tools that coaching uses are to help you find the answers and bring them to the surface to get the energy to make that a positive action.

How does it work?
Coaching starts with where you are now and where do you want to get. If you don’t know where yet, no problem, we can discover that together. The sessions end with a strategy and tactics that will move you closer to your goal.
You can meet your coach face to face or on the telephone (or via Skype). The sessions length is according to the agreement you will have with your coach and it can vary between 30 minutes to 2 hours, according to the issue. In the agreement you will also establish the times you will meet with your coach, if on a weekly or once every two weeks basis.
You will establish what is the issue, what is your goal, where are you at this point regarding your goal and what are the options you could explore. After choosing the best option for you, you will establish an action plan. During the time between the sessions it’s important you take action! That action will take you closer to achieving your goal.
You will receive support via email and availability from your coach in case you would like to have a quick updating call in between the sessions.
